What Kate had to say about this proposed project in her hometown of Franklin, “It’s no secret that Franklin, Kentucky is dripping with charm and tradition. This design kept Franklin’s unique character in mind with inspiration from its sweet sunflower fields, familial, warm roots, and kindness”.

Originally, Dark Botanicals, now known as #FranklinWallFlowers, Kate drew additional inspiration from the “lush, complex floral still lifes of the early 19th century harkening to tradition and symbolizing growth and gathering”.
